Cool new software for running an online presence.
Statamic is PHP but without databases. Compose posts and pages in HTML, Markdown, Textile, or just plain text. Very simple and genius – in my opinion.
I need to read further on the templates and themes but otherwise it works well.
I put up a new website with it called ibuy.geekandi.com where I am listing the things that I think others might be interested in. Right now I am trying to load in books and it is going to take a while to finish that section. I added a ‘physical’ section with geeky items done up in blog format (where the newest is at the top) with some minor review detail.
