I almost forgot…I am in the business of providing UseNet News and recently found that someone who has a search engine for propagation had linked back - teach me to be too busy!
That site is alive and kicking, once you are on the frontpage - look towards the bottom right and click UseNet Propagation Search.
No way, I thought, but then I read the announcement on the SciFi.com website. 10 years and SciFi channel drops the series after 5.
What’s next? Another stupid series like Tremors? GAH! SciFriday could start to suck if we geeks can not get our 3 hours (well, 2 hours, 6 minutes if you DVR/TiVo it) of great to decent SciFi! I hope they don’t move Eureka to SciFriday to help ‘fill in the gap’, it is a good mid-week filler, but it isn’t up to task for SciFriday.
Read rest of ‘Stargate SG:1 cancelled!’
I have added a library of books I have read, reading, or plan to read.
This can be access directly by choosing the Books link at the top of the page.
Flock is a new web broswer with built in <things>, like blogging capabilities, RSS reader. and other things.
So far, it is no where near as fast as Safari as a web browser, and on par with Firefox.
Having the ability to write a quick entry into a blog, such as this one, though seems like a cool feature.
Then there is MarsEdit…This is a dedicated blogging application using XMLRPC calls to get the job done. This post was edited with MarsEdit. One bonus, though, it supports Emacs key bindings, like other items within the OS X experience. This part rocks!
I’ll continue more later…I guess.
John McKown brings up some good points (see link) with regard to colocation vs managed servers, most of which I agree with.
