Thank you!

My friend helped me find it - looks like it might have been a cross site scripting issue and a whole post had been edited with java script.

Whew! FIXED!

The wp-stats warning is from a piece of javascript that's gotten dumped in the posts - use the source view and look for "traffic statistics" to find which post(s) has it. I've had that happen and upgrading WP took care of it.

I've also just had the 61.155.8.0 thing show up in the last 24 hours, and it was causing my site to redirect to some crappy anti-virus softrware site - I can't find any specific mention of it in the WP forums, but I'm in the process of upgrading to 2.6 tonight and hopefully that will take care of it and get me off stopbadware.org and google's "this site will kill you!" list.

I would definately like to see such articles. I, myself, use postfix for all of my mail needs and I've taken a very layered approach to fighting spam. I would be interested to see what configurations you come up with.

Heh:-), thanks for the link back.
I found your blog through a weird loop, I wasn't even searching for it. I was advising someone about getting on a NSP and somehow I found a link on Technocrati towards a post of you, in this blog, that has been deleted. I became curious and sniffed around a bit here. Concluded that you were some Dude I know.
My blog is quite new so I thought, let's link to it so I don't forget about it.
I have seen your pictures of your farm, quite impressive.
Best to you.

Sure!

It is very nice to have you guys back, like I said, I don't necessarily agree with everything you guys talk about in terms of opinions, but regardless, I have listened to ever show.

I have 2 friends of mine recently comment on WHT. It is too bad they didn't start sooner before your hiatus.

Best of luck and keep the episodes coming!

I have spent hours, upon hours, (upon more hours) trying to get Goofy Windows ISAKMP/OAKLEY setups to talk to OpenBSD. It was an pain, and it never fully work, EG: IKECFG should push DNS/Vitural IPs/WINS to the client, but that never worked across installs.

Long story short- I developed a process to create PKCS12 files for SafeNet and OpenBSD with ISAKMPD, abandoned that, and move to OpenVPN and PKCS12 files, and it just works!

Hours burned on trying to get windows and ISAKMPD to work: 120 (yes, It was that bad)
Hours burned setting up OpenVPN: 2-4, and it just worked!

Mind you, site to site VPN using OpenBSD just work as well, and they work great!

Comment on Virtualization and Mac OS X by mike

Well, you seem to be downright negative about this whole Windows on Mac thing.

I don't know what world you live in, but really, you are so damn negative.

Why the hate? Why the constant negativity?

Virtualization has been in Mac OSX before - Virtual PC was a version of it, it just wasn't as 'cool' as todays stuff. If you think about it...it comes down to a 'who would have thought???' kind of question.

Computing continues to move forward and the new virtualization techniques will continue to improve and become a viable solution for many.

But don't knock the Windows stuff, it is short sighted and very closeminded. While I trackbacked the one article, your postings caused me to give these kinds of comments, it was not the one article on its own.

I am not an expert on the OS X side, though it is my workstation OS of choice.

I am an advocate for users using what they are comfortable with and that they keep their minds open to new technologies and techniques.

Thanks for the comment, you're welcome to come and bash me anytime :)

Hey, I'm not saying you missed the joke or anything but you might want to carefully look at who exactly was referenced as the "moronic luddite" I'm right that guy you I referenced is a moronic luddite, I am sure of it (check the author's by line, that guy sucks!)

As far as virtualization goes, it is going to be pretty useful. But the article was really about OS X being able to compete head on with Windows, and user's fear of that scenario. I have confidence that OS X is a better solution...

I bet it is busy.

The others I know that have the MacTel boxes are having a great time, and playing CounterStrike: Source is just a fun distraction I never thought I would get to see on my MBP.

Good luck with the call volume. The instructions are clear and so far I haven't heard anyone having issues.

yeah, it is technically a tv out, that's how the OS views it because with that adapter, it does change the fact that it can't spit out in higher resolutions that the tv can't view. you pop that adapter on, and it's just the same as the S-Vid/Composite output on your standard PC vid card.

So now that this is available, once I get a DVD drive that actually works again, I'll have OS X on my PC, and when i get my new iMac, i'll have Windows on my MacIntel.

We've actually been getting pretty heavy call volume regarding Boot Camp at work, a ton of people are digging this, and most of 'em are gamers or corporate people. Great mix, eh? hehe.

Yah, there is the DVI to SVIDEO cable, so it can be done, but is that TV out?

Me, I believe it is just an adapter and nothing more :)

Kind of fun, and very weird, to see/hear Windows XP on my MBP. I have done VPC for years to take care of my needs for the corp applications that I need to access from time to time, but this i sso much cleaner (never minding that things are native instead).

Now having the ability to play FPS games brings back the time-wasting hobby that I probably should do without.

Yeah, the drivers aren't all neat and clean completely yet, but it's better than the original hack from Narf and Blanka for sure.

And technically, the MBP <i>does</i> have a tv out. You just have to use the Apple Video adapter. When you use that, it is treated as a "real" tv-out. Windows doesn't know how to handle a DVI output that pulls double-duty, apparently.

Glad to hear that it's working out for you though. :)
